Born in Kurashiki, Japan, his diverse musical journey began at age six with the electronic organ, followed by playing the trumpet in a brass band. At fifteen, he took up the electric guitar, immersing himself in '80s rock and pops before moving toward fusion and jazz. While studying at Yokohama National University, he began composing synthesizer music for theater and dance. He then pursued architecture at the renowned office of Yoshio Taniguchi, eventually transitioning into graphic and product design, and founding JIN ATELIER CO., LTD. in 2012.
His musical evolution continued in parallel. In his late twenties, he turned to the classical guitar for bossa nova and jazz, and ultimately embraced the piano at age thirty-five. Deeply inspired by J.S. Bach, Stephen Foster, Miles Davis, Keith Jarrett, Astor Piazzolla, and traditional ethnic music, he weaves these rich roots into a unique, minimalist style. Combining refined design sensibilities with his multi-instrumental background, he has been releasing original, introspective piano pieces and sheet music since 2017.
